Every coin trades in a Uniswap v4 pool on Arc. The pool charges no LP fee. A fixed trading fee of 1% applies to every buy and every sell.

  • The trading fee is paid by the trader.
  • The trading fee is collected in the coin's quote asset: USDC for a USDC-quoted coin, or the stock token for a stock-quoted coin.
  • The fee rate and its allocation are fixed in the contracts and cannot be changed for a coin after launch.

Fee allocation

RecipientSharePaid in
Holders of the coin57.5%Payout stock
Creator (holder of the Creator Rights NFT)10%Quote asset
Desk cards10%Payout stock
SOLON V2 staking5%Payout stock
Buyback & burn10%SOLON, sent to the burn contract
Protocol vault7.5%USDC

For a stock-quoted coin, the buyback & burn share and the protocol vault share are received in the stock token and are first sold for USDC. Each such sale is subject to a price floor: the sale price must not be more than 1% below the oracle price.

SOLON pool fee

The SOLON/USDC pool itself charges a 1% LP fee. Since 2026-10-07 that fee runs its own split, settled automatically by the platform each round:

RecipientSharePaid in
V2 stakers (stock escrow)57.5%USDC into the stakers' escrow, paid out as stock
Original SOLON rewards pool5%SOLON, streamed over 7 days
Buyback & burn20%SOLON, sent to the dead address
Protocol17.5%USDC

The creator-side fee of the SOLON pool folds into the same table: its USDC joins the split above, and its SOLON is divided across the SOLON legs in the same proportions.

Example

A buy of 100 USDC in a USDC-quoted coin incurs a trading fee of 1 USDC, allocated as follows:

RecipientAmount
Holders0.575 USDC
Creator0.10 USDC
Desk cards0.10 USDC
SOLON V2 staking0.05 USDC
Buyback & burn0.10 USDC
Protocol vault0.075 USDC

The holder, Desk card and staking shares are subsequently used to purchase the payout stock. See Payouts.

Use of each share

  • Holders: see Payouts.
  • Creator: see Launching a coin.
  • Desk cards, staking, buyback & burn: see Desk cards, staking and SOLON.
  • Protocol vault: surplus funds can be transferred only to the treasury, and only after a 48-hour timelock. Committed funds and an operating buffer of at least 100 USDC remain in the vault.
