Launching a coin
- Any wallet can launch a coin. SolonPad charges no launch fee; the creator pays network gas only.
- Each coin has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000.
- The entire supply is deposited into a single pool position. Any rounding remainder is sent to the burn address. The LP NFT is held by a fixed locker contract.
Quote asset
| Quote asset | Trading pair | Holder payouts |
|---|---|---|
| USDC | Native USDC on Arc | The payout stock selected at launch, purchased in purchase rounds |
| Stock token | A stock token approved by governance (NVDA.sol at launch) | The quote stock itself |
A stock-quoted coin can be launched only while the market for that stock is open and its stock token is transferable.
Payout stock
For a USDC-quoted coin, the creator selects one of the following options at launch.
| Option | Payout stock |
|---|---|
| Platform default | Follows the platform payout calendar and may change over time |
| Fixed stock | NVDA.sol, AAPL.sol or TSLA.sol, selected at launch; cannot be changed |
A stock-quoted coin always pays in its quote stock. No other payout stock can be selected.
Creator rights
- At launch, the creator receives a Creator Rights NFT for the coin.
- The holder of the NFT receives 10% of every trading fee of the coin.
- This share is paid in the quote asset (USDC or the quote stock), not in the payout stock.
- The NFT is transferable. The unclaimed creator share is transferred with it.
