Desk cards

Desk cards receive 10% of the trading fee of every coin.

  • The total number of Desk cards is capped at 5,000.
  • Minting a card sends 100,000 SOLON to the burn contract and requires a surcharge of $50 USDC per card. The amount is fixed at contract deployment and does not change; it is displayed on the Desk page.
  • 90% of the surcharge is distributed to Desk cards. The remaining 10% goes to the protocol vault.
  • A single transaction can mint up to 20 cards. By default, one address can receive up to 50 cards from primary mints.
  • The Desk share of each fee is divided equally among the cards that exist when the fee is received.
  • Payouts accrue to the card, not to the wallet. They are paid to whoever holds the card at the time of the claim.
  • Desk payouts are made in stock tokens.
  • Desk cards specify a 5% resale royalty under ERC-2981. Where a marketplace honors ERC-2981, the royalty is added to Desk payouts.
  • The shares attributable to protocol Desk cards are directed to SOLON V2 staking.

  • Both pools allow unstaking in a single transaction.
  • In the V2 stock payout pool, a stake participates from the first fee received after the stake is made.
  • If a fee arrives while no SOLON is staked in the V2 pool, the fee is held and released over 7 days once SOLON is staked again.
  • The trading fee of coins does not fund the original SOLON rewards pool. The SOLON pool's own fee does: since 2026-10-07 it splits 57.5% to the V2 stakers' escrow, 5% to the original pool, 20% to buy-and-burn and 17.5% to the protocol.

SOLON

SOLON is the platform token on Arc. It has 18 decimals and a total supply of 1,000,000,000.

Buyback & burn

  • 10% of the trading fee of every coin is used to buy SOLON.
  • Each buyback spends at most 1,000 USDC. Its quote is valid for 60 seconds and specifies a minimum output.
  • SOLON bought with coin trading fees can be transferred only to the burn contract; the SOLON pool's 20% burn leg goes to the dead address 0x…dEaD instead. The burn contract has no code and no owner, and tokens cannot be transferred out of it.
  • SOLON paid for Desk card mints is sent to the same burn contract.
  • Transfers to the burn contract do not reduce SOLON's totalSupply(). The amount burned equals the SOLON balance of the burn contract plus the dead address.

Live figures are available on the Buyback & burn page.
